Crest Nicholson Site Manager Wins Quality Award - Ian Smith

Regarded as one of the highest accolades in the construction business, Ian Smith, Site Manager at Crest Nicholson Eastern, has again won a ‘Pride in the Job 2014 Quality Award’ at the NHBC’s annual Awards. These awards recognise Ian’s exceptional work at the company’s Liberty Park development, in Wainscott.

This is the ninth time Ian has won the Quality Award and he will now go on to compete in the next stage of the competition, the Seal of Excellence Awards.

Peter Diffley, Managing Director at Crest Nicholson Eastern, comments; “We are delighted that Ian has once again been recognised for his exceptional level of commitment and hard work in managing the building work at Liberty Park. The development continues to sell extremely well, and the quality of homes produced is second-to-none, which is testament to Ian’s skills as a Site Manager in helping the company to produce the high standard of homes for which Crest Nicholson is renowned.”

Ian commented: “I am absolutely delighted to have received this award and I’m looking forward to the next stage of the competition; it’s fantastic to have my efforts recognised by the NHBC.  I am extremely proud to work on Liberty Park and would like to take this opportunity to thank my team for their continued dedication and support which is invaluable to making Liberty Park such a success.”

Liberty Park comprises stylish coach houses and two, three and four-bedroom houses. Externally, properties blend traditional design elements, such as weatherboarding and hanging tiles, with features including dormer windows and varied roof elevations to create a development that suits the Kent vernacular. Homes are situated on pretty tree-lined boulevards, surrounded by landscaped open space.

Liberty Park is located on Hoo Road in Wainscott. The development is well located and offers very good commutability to London and the wider Kent area.  Nearby Strood Mainline Station provides a fast train on the High Speed 1 line to St Pancras in just 32 minutes.  The station also offers efficient services to London Bridge, London Waterloo East and London Charing Cross in just over an hour and good access to the M2 motorway and A2, which are just minutes away.

New homes will be available soon at Liberty Park. To register your interest or for further information please contact Crest Nicholson on 0870 752 4382 or visit
