Hatfield is a popular commuting town in Hertfordshire. Only 20 miles north of the capital, it has become a perfect location for those who still want the fast-paced, work life of the city, but to be able to easily reach home and enjoy relaxation with family and friends. If you’re looking for new homes in Hatfield, Crest Nicholson is delighted to offer a selection near the town.
The town has all the modern amenities you expect, enjoy your free time either taking in a film at the nine screen cinema, wandering the many shops of the Galleria shopping centre, or taking in a show at The Weston Auditorium theatre. If you’re after something a little more cultural, then the Mill Green Museum, the Art and Design Gallery or Hatfield House all make for an interesting and pleasing trip out.
Hatfield’s music venue, The Forum (located on the University of Hertfordshire campus) is not only known for its events, but it was also the set for Ed Sheeran’s Lego House (featuring Rupert Grint). Filming took place in The Forum, with many students of the University of Hertfordshire getting involved and making up most of the audience featured. It’s not the only filming venue in the town though, with Hatfield Business Park also used as a location for Saving Private Ryan and Band of Brothers.
There are plenty of convenient travel links from Hatfield, which is connected to London by road via the A1. There are also regular, direct trains to several parts of the city including King’s Cross, Finsbury Park and Moorgate.
If you’re looking for new houses in Hatfield, Crest Nicholson is the expert in building developments and communities, and you can view all of our new build developments above.
