Crest Nicholson Eastern is delighted to announce that its site manager, Rob Scott, at The Laurels in Stowmarket, Suffolk, has been recognised for his hard work by receiving a ‘Quality Award’ in the National House Builders Council (NHBC) ‘Pride in the Job’ awards. The competition is a highly respected award in the house building industry and reflects the high standards and expertise of site managers at developments across the UK.

Having been selected from over 18,000 contenders in the UK, Rob will now move forward to the next stage of the competition, the ‘Seal of Excellence’ awards which take place this autumn.

Peter Diffley, Managing Director, Crest Nicholson Eastern comments: “This is a real achievement for Rob and the team at The Laurels and they should be very proud that their efforts have been recognised on a national level. Rob plays an absolutely vital role in the delivery of the high quality new homes for which Crest Nicholson is renowned and this award is well deserved. We wish him the best of luck for the next stage of the competition.”

NHBC's ‘Pride in the Job’ is the only national competition to focus on the contribution the site manager makes in producing high quality new homes.

The Laurels is the latest phase of Crest Nicholson’s sought-after Cedars Park development, which began fifteen years ago. The new homes sit within an established village-style community which has its own school, community centre, as well as ample open space, footpaths and places to play.

The Laurels continues the same successful pattern of the earlier phases and offers a delightful range of two bedroom coach houses, two and three bedroom cottages and four bedroom family homes in traditionally influenced styles.
