Award-winning developer Crest Nicholson hosted a Christmas lights switch in the communal landscaped courtyard at Dylon Works, Lower Sydenham, last week. The festive event was attended by Maureen Kennedy, Deputy Mayoress of Bromley, and around 35 residents at Dylon Works.
Crest Nicholson provided mince pies and mulled wine throughout the course of the evening, which saw the lights of the Christmas tree officially turned on by the Deputy Mayoress and two -year old Isabella, a resident at Dylon Works. The event was also a chance for residents to meet their new neighbours, and enjoy an evening of seasonal festivities.
Sean Ruane, Sales and Marketing Director at Crest Nicholson London, said: “We were pleased to welcome the Deputy Mayoress of Bromley to our Christmas event at Dylon Works last week. It’s great to see such a strong community amongst residents emerging at the development, and we look forward to seeing this flourish further as we head into 2018.”
Maureen Kennedy, Deputy Mayoress of Bromley, said: “I was delighted to be invited to switch on the Christmas lights with the help of Isabella. It was lovely to be able to meet and enjoy a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie with the new residents at Dylon Works. I was fortunate to be shown around a three-bedroom apartment which I found to be very spacious and decorated to a high standard. I was also impressed with the underground parking, and how easy it is for the residents to commute into central London.”
Since its launch just over a year ago, Dylon Works has proved hugely popular with first time buyers looking to get their feet on the property ladder in the capital, and homes are selling fast. All homes are available to purchase on the London Help to Buy scheme, and are positioned around the central communal courtyard where the festive event took place.
Located directly opposite Lower Sydenham station, residents at Dylon Works can enjoy a straightforward commute into central London, with regular direct trains into London Bridge in just 16 minutes, and Charing Cross in 25 minutes.
Crest Nicholson is currently offering to pay Stamp Duty and include a full furniture package on selected homes reserved before Christmas. Homes at Dylon Works start from £379,995 for a one-bedroom apartment, with only a £18,999 deposit required (5%) and an interest free loan of £151,998 (40%) for 5 years when purchased on the London Help to Buy scheme.
