Local housebuilder Crest Nicholson has sponsored the installation of a selection of brand new outdoor exercise equipment at More Park Catholic Primary School in West Malling, for the students to use and enjoy for years to come.
The new additions, including seven piece of fitness equipment, include cardio and residence apparatus accessible to children aged 5 to 12 years old. Not only will the equipment be used in PE lessons to support with the students’ understanding of health and fitness, but it will also be available to use at break and lunch times. The equipment has been installed in one corner of the school field in a horseshoe configuration, allowing mats to be placed in the middle so that a whole class can use the space for an outdoor fitness lesson. The equipment will also be used in activities for children with a variety of needs, meaning all students across the school will be able to make the most of the new installations.
Paul Greenwood, PE Lead at More Park School, said: “More Park School would like to thank Crest Nicholson for their generous donation towards our outdoor equipment. As a Platinum sponsor, they’ve been instrumental in our fundraising plans to make this installation a reality. This donation has allowed us to not only purchase new apparatus, but choose equipment that will both excite and inspire children for many years to come on their sports and health journey.”
Karen Coulson, Sales and Marketing Director at Crest Nicholson Eastern, comments: “At Crest Nicholson, we’re not only committed to building homes but also supporting the wider community and so we were really pleased to be able to support More Park School with the installation of outdoor equipment. We’re looking forward to seeing students enjoying the equipment over the next few months.”
