Launched in January, Help to Buy – Wales is an initiative designed to make buying a new home more achievable for both first-time buyers and existing home owners, and is available on new-build homes at Old School Rise up to a value of £300,000.
The scheme enables homebuyers to own their home for just 80 percent of the purchase price with a deposit of as little as five per cent. The remaining 20 per cent of the property price is lent to the purchaser by the Welsh Government and is interest free for the first five years.
One of the properties that is available from £151,960 with Help to Buy – Wales is the three bedroom Huntingdon house. The home offers a spacious and sociable living / dining room with French Doors onto the garden, separate kitchen and a WC on the ground floor. Upstairs, the main bedroom enjoys an en-suite shower room, and is complemented by a second double bedroom and children’s bedroom.
Laura Osborne, Senior Sales Manager for Crest Nicholson in Wales, said: “We’re thrilled to be offering Help to Buy – Wales at Old School Rise. The initiative will enable more people to make that all important step onto the property ladder and also reduce the number of steps existing homeowners need to take before owning their dream family home.
“The initiative is already proving very popular at the development, so I’d recommend house-hunters pop in and speak to the sales advisors to find out how Help to Buy – Wales can help get them moving.”
