Article image A brand new coffee shop has opened its doors at Bath’s leading new property development.

Coffee #1 is now serving freshly brewed beverages at Bath Riverside, the major regeneration project that’s located on the south side of the River Avon and site of the former Stothert & Pitt, Engineers and Founders.

Comprising 1,980 sq ft, the new coffee shop is located in the highly acclaimed Royal View building and provides customers with stunning views of the River Avon and new riverside park.

It is the first café to open on the £600 million mixed use site and (NUMBER) in the brand’s chain.

Marcus Evans, sales and marketing director at Crest Nicholson said: “Bath Riverside was always intended to include a mix of property types so it’s great to see Coffee #1 now open and trading.

“With Royal View complete and Sovereign Point, its sister building, right on schedule means we’ve been able to progress with the landscaping between the two buildings.

“The new riverside park has made for a fantastic backdrop to the new café. It now provides residents and the people of Bath with a fantastic place to relax, where they can enjoy a freshly made coffee and catch up with friends and family.

“Part of the masterplan was about community and opening up an area that had been left disused for many, many years. It’s great to see it being brought back to life and reflects the needs of the city. We wish Coffee #1 the very best.” Back
