Sutton Coldfield development receives national recognition at NHBC’s Health and Safety Awards

Crest Nicholson’s Harvest Fields development in Sutton Coldfield has been shortlisted for a top award at the home building sector’s awards for Health & Safety on building sites. Run by the National House-Building Council, the NHBC Health & Safety Awards offer builders the opportunity to share best practice, showcase excellence and celebrate the good work of their Health & Safety teams. Rob Chandler, Senior Site Manager at Harvest Fields has been commended for excellence by the NHBC for his role in the site’s performance.

The awards consist of three categories, Best Site Awards, Company Recognition Awards and Special Awards. Harvest Fields has been shortlisted in the Best Site (Large Builder) category and will now go on to be judged by an independent panel which will select the highly commended and winning entries. The winners will be announced at the NHBC Health & Safety Awards Ceremony on the 6 July at the ICC in Birmingham.

Rob Chandler, Senior Site Manager at Crest Nicholson’s Harvest Fields development, said: “The safety of workers on Crest Nicholson building sites is of paramount importance to the organisation and something we take very seriously. It is very gratifying for our commitment to health and safety to be recognised with an award from such a prestigious industry body as the NHBC.”
