A site manager and a sales advisor from Crest Nicholson’s Shoreham development, Orchard Gate, have both won a Bronze Award at housebuilder Crest Nicholson’s annual national Sales Advisor and Site Manager of the Year awards ceremony. Tom Maidment, who has worked for Crest Nicholson for four years, beat off competition from across the country to be presented with a Bronze Award at the company’s Sales Advisor of the Year awards ceremony on Wednesday and Paul Burnett won a Bronze Award in the Site Manager category.
Tom and Paul won the awards for their work at the Orchard Gate development in Shoreham-by-Sea, where Tom has consistently delivered the very best in customer service and driven sales in a challenging market and Paul won the award for his dedication to delivering the very best build quality.
Stephen Stone, Chief Executive, Crest Nicholson PLC, comments: “We take our standards of customer care very seriously and our sales advisors are at the heart of ensuring a positive experience for our purchasers. It is absolutely critical in our business that purchasers are given expert support and advice to guide them through the buying process; even more so in a tough economic climate. Tom has worked incredibly hard to drive sales at Orchard Gate and feedback from customers is that he does a phenomenal job helping and supporting them every step of the way through the buying process.
“Crest Nicholson’s site managers play a key role in ensuring that we continue to deliver homes of the very highest standard. Paul has shown great drive and dedication in his work at Orchard Gate and feedback from his team and from customers has been exceptional. I’m delighted to be able to recognise both of their efforts with these awards.”
Tom commented: “I am absolutely thrilled to have won the award. Orchard Gate is a great site to work on as there’s a real variety of buyers and I’ve got to know many of the residents really well. I’m lucky to have a job that I really enjoy – I get to help people fulfil what for many is a major life ambition in owning their own home. It’s really satisfying when, after working closely with a customer, I hand them the keys to their new home and see how happy and excited they are.”
Paul, 53, commented: “I am absolutely thrilled to have won the Bronze award but I couldn’t have done it without the support of my team, all of whom have contributed to Orchard Gate being such a success. I love the variety of my job – I get to work with everyone from our forklift truck drivers to sub-contractors and also often to work with our customers throughout the construction process to ensure that they are really happy with their new home. It’s great to be honoured for doing a job that I really enjoy and there’s nothing better than seeing a happy buyer settled in their new home.”
