The Paintworks development has a community energy scheme whereby your property receives heat and hot water generated by a district heating system. This is a more efficient method of generating and distributing heat and hot water. The UK Government is supporting this Scandinavian technology as a method to reduce the UK’s carbon emissions by 80% by 2050. District heating is seen as a key technology to achieve this target encouraging new developments to adopt community energy schemes and Crest Nicholson is committed to being a sustainable developer.
