Electricity House is an exciting unique development of apartments including stunning penthouse apartments over two floors. This iconic building, designed by the notable Architect Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, has been restored to its former glory reinstating and enhancing the buildings celebrated art deco vernacular/style.

Situated within the conservation area of College Green, Electricity House has been transformed into an opulent mix of luxurious apartments many of which benefit from high specification, concierge and secure undercroft parking. Future proposals for the landscaping and creation of a public square in front of the building will further enhance the setting of this BS1 iconic building.

Many of the original art deco features have been resurrected in the foyer and atrium, and care has been taken to complement these with stylish contemporary living spaces in order to create a truly bespoke residency. Following on from the hugely successful launch we have now released our final phase of stunning penthouses with generous space over two levels.

The BS1 location gives the development the best of both worlds, heritage and unique pockets of Bristol to meander through, modern shopping centres and restaurant chains close by, whilst also being just ¼ mile from the M32 linking to the M4 and M5 for both business and more rural countryside pursuits.

Designed by experts with you in mind

Every Crest Nicholson home is built to exacting standards, with appearance, comfort and energy efficiency at the very heart of every design.

For over 50 years we’ve listened to customer feedback - and we’ve made changes as a result - we've worked hard to develop new homes that exceed expectations in every way.

From classic family homes to contemporary apartments, Crest Nicholson homes are designed to stand the test of time.

Carefully selected materials

We have a dedicated team of people who continuously procure and source the very latest building materials and innovative technologies to ensure every new home reaches the highest levels of building effectiveness.

We work to ensure that we ethically source the raw materials we use to construct each home and that all our timber comes from sustainable sources.

A better built home for you and your family

The highly insulated walls, roofs and ground floors exceed current building regulations – keeping the cold air out and warm air in.

Unpleasant drafts are a thing of the past and soundproofing is improved to reduce disturbance, ensuring your home really is your sanctuary.

The result is greater year-round temperature efficiency at lower cost and consuming less CO2.

Innovative practical technologies all designed to make your life easier and your bills lower

Double glazed windows are low maintenance and maximise natural daylight in your home.

The innovative coated glass is highly thermally efficient which helps keep the house warmer in winter and cooler in summer. When closed, they are a perfect airtight fit.

Say goodbye to cold drafts – and enjoy cosy winter months.

In kitchens and bathrooms we've incorporated the latest technologies to help reduce water consumption without compromising your comfort.

Our kitchens and bathrooms are fitted with contemporary water-saving Hansgrohe mixer taps which provide innovative Air Power Technology.

APT mixes air with water to create a softer, more voluminous and luxurious water flow.

Enjoy your perfect bath water temperature; thermostatic bath and shower mixers give you precision temperature control for your comfort and safety. Better features that provide a saving in water, energy and costs.

Saving you money in every room

New homes are six times more energy-efficient and generate over 60% less CO2 emissions than older style homes.

A new home helps to reduce what you’ll need to spend on utility bills. In a Crest Nicholson home we've incorporated money saving features such as 100% low energy lighting and use A-rated appliances which do all the hard work for you.
