Article image Having moved into a brand new apartment over a year ago, Bath Riverside resident Gary Temprell has enjoyed the lifestyle so much, he is now looking to upscale into a bigger property at the popular city-centre development.

Gary first came to know about Crest Nicholson’s flagship development when he visited a friend and seeing first-hand the quality of the properties on offer, decided to buy a studio apartment as an investment.

But knowing someone else was enjoying the trappings of his brand new property, Gary decided he wanted to live in a new home of his own so decided to sell his three-bedroom Georgian apartment and moved into a one-bedroom apartment.

Since then, Gary has been watching with great interest how Bath Riverside has grown, transforming the southern banks of the River Avon into arguably the most sought after place to live in the South West.

So when the sales team released the latest phase of one, two and three-bedroom apartments in the Leopold House phase, Gary was quick of the mark to find out more about some of the two-bedroom properties.

Having now reserved a two-bedroom apartment, he is looking forward to moving into his new ground-floor pad and enjoying further the lifestyle afforded by the riverside development.

Gary said: “I’ve just love living at Bath Riverside. It’s convenient, is cheap to run costing about a quarter of what I used to pay in an older property and is in a brilliant location. I can walk to the city centre along the tow path and enjoy all that Bath has to offer including the many restaurants and bars.

“I do also like the design of the development. It’s in keeping with the city of Bath but has a modern take of the classic design. And because it’s a new build means an easy life which is a far cry from when I was living in my previous house.

“The chance to move into a bigger property was something I was looking to do for a while so when the sales team let me know about the release of some two-bedroom apartments I was very keen to take a look.

“I’ve also looked at some more traditional, older properties right in the heart of Bath however issues with planning regulations and fact that some of the centre has been designated at risk from flood put me off.

“The two-bedroom properties also have a designated car parking space and although I don’t really use my car on the weekends, it’s handy to have as I work in Swindon during the week.”

Susan Young, sales and marketing director at Crest Nicholson said: “It’s always great to hear how residents have enjoyed the living at Bath Riverside.

“It’s especially pleasing when one of those residents then decide to buy again and we’re delighted Mr Temprell has found a new property that suits his lifestyle.”

The marketing suite on Victoria Bridge Road is open daily from 10 am to 5pm.
