Ready, steady, move!
Being able to see something for real is infinitely better than having to try and picture what it might look like.
Therefore house hunters in Bath looking to move into a new property that is close to the city centre, are being advised to visit what has become arguably the most distinctive development anywhere in the South West - Crest Nicholson’s Bath Riverside.
With building work at the development getting underway over four years ago, means there are now plenty of properties ready to move into. Anyone who doesn’t fancy waiting around for their new home to be built can therefore make that move with immediate effect, and possibly be in by Christmas.
Marcus Evans, sales and marketing executive at Crest Nicholson said: “Although there are a number of new developments coming to market soon in Greater Bath, none are yet out of the ground. It’s therefore tricky for potential buyers to see what the specification, layout and even finish of the properties for sale will be.
“We have certainly noticed an upturn in interest as more and more of the development has been built. Buyers feel more comfortable when they can see the physical building and quality of finish.”
Walk to city centre
The only new development that is close to the centre of the world heritage city and on the banks of the River Avon, Bath Riverside has the added advantage of providing its residents with a flat, level walk to all the attractions and amenities on offer.
Choosing between the pedestrian towpath or along Upper Bristol Road via the newly refurbished Victoria Bridge, residents can be in the centre in about 15 minutes, including Bath Spa train station.
Whether it’s for business or leisure, the appeal of being so close and not on an incline is clearly attracting a growing number of house hunters to the development.
Marcus added: “More and more buyers have commented that one of the reasons for moving here is because it is not located on one of the numerous hills that overlook the city. Moving from all areas around Bath many say they were just fed up with having to contend with the hills.
“There’s no need to hop in the car to go to the shops or get to the cinema or restaurant.
“It opens up a new type of lifestyle which many are just loving and I’d advise others do the same.”
Current availability includes a handful of apartments, ideal for a range of buyer from first timers, investors or even those wanting a lock up and leave.
