After a long search to find the perfect home near their daughters’ schools, Paul and Sarah have moved into their new home at Crest Nicholson’s Nightingale Fields in Wokingham. Lucie, 11, is at Bohunt School which is within walking distance of the development. Emma, 7, is at Charles Kingsley Primary School in Eversley, rated as “Outstanding” by OFSTED.

With easy access to the good schools in the Wokingham area, Paul and Sarah are not alone in moving to this part of the area for the benefit of their children’s education. Having moved in just in time for school term to begin, the couple are clearly delighted with their new home. “The main attraction for us moving here was the school”, says Sarah, “and with a children’s play area within viewing distance too, we’ve found that Lucie and Emma are enjoying life here every bit as much as we are”.

With such impressive space inside their four-bedroom, three storey home, Paul and Sarah have been able to give the children the whole of the top floor, with their own bathroom too – the sort of space many children only dream of.

For their part, Paul and Sarah are also enjoying the new-found luxury in their Nightingale Fields home. “The house works perfectly for us”, explains Sarah. “We like to entertain a lot, which is why it’s so important for us to have a big kitchen-dining room. We recently had people over for my step-dad’s 70th birthday, which went really well – although I was relieved it was a joint effort on the cooking!”

Sarah says she also loves the luxury finish to their home with a fully fitted Roca bathroom suite in white, to the bathroom, en suite and cloakroom, with chrome Hansgrohe mixer taps and shower fittings. Having moved into Nightingale Fields, they describe how life on a brand-new development has meant that “everyone has grown together and there’s a real sense of community around the whole area, which is perfect for a family new to the place”.

The development is also superbly located for transport. The nearby M4 means that both London and Bristol are easy to reach, while the hustle and bustle of Reading is just a short distance away from this picturesque garden village, and Wokingham train station is nearby which can take you to London in under an hour.

Prices at Nightingale Fields start from £334,950, and go up to £834,950, with many homes at the development available through the Government Help to Buy* scheme too.
