Award-winning housebuilder Crest Nicholson is investing in the beautiful game with its sponsorship of local under-7s football team, ‘The Panthers’.

The Panthers play their home games at the MK Pavilion, opposite Crest Nicholson’s Oakgrove Village, and are running out this season with the Crest Nicholson logo emblazoned on their jerseys.

Manager of The Panthers and parent to one of its stars, Tim Northey, said: “It’s great to have Crest Nicholson on-board for our inaugural season.

“I was helping out with training the kids last season but was ‘appointed’ relatively close to the beginning of the season kicking-off - which didn’t leave us with a lot of time to get everything sorted. The support of Crest Nicholson meant we could focus on the football and know that the team were going to be running out in great new kits!”

Marcus Evans, Sales and Marketing Director at Crest Nicholson, said: “We’re delighted to be supporting The Panthers this season - they’re making football fans of all of us!

“We’re proud of the community we’ve built at Oakgrove Village, which now boasts a school, a Waitrose, Costa coffee and so much more. We’ve put community at the heart of what we are doing at Oakgrove Village and that extends beyond the parameters of the development.  We’ll certainly be monitoring the progress of The Panthers closely this season and wish them the best of luck for their remaining fixtures.”

The Panthers have had something of an up and down start to life in the Milton Keynes and District Development League, with a mixed bag of results currently seeing them reside in mid-table.

Interest in Oakgrove Village is high and prospective owners are encouraged to act quickly to avoid disappointment.
