George and Helena Buckenham achieved their dream of home ownership in December, moving into their brand-new three-bedroom house at Crest Nicholson’s Notley Grange in Braintree at the age of just 24.

George, who works as an Operational Risk Analyst at Ford Credit, and Helena, a Sister on the Children’s Ward at Broomfield Hospital, got engaged in December 2016 and began searching for their first home together soon afterwards. The couple had been living in Manchester for George’s work but decided to move to Essex to be closer to their families. Before long, they came across Crest Nicholson’s Notley Grange in the sought-after village of Black Notley, Braintree, as part of their property search.

Notley Grange offers the perfect mix of a semi-rural location, whilst also being close to amenities.  The village green sits at the heart of the development and offer a children’s play area and an abundance of open space for all residents to enjoy. Homes have been designed with the needs of modern living in mind, with traditional exteriors combined with spacious open-plan interior living areas that maximise light and space.

Whilst viewing the homes at Notley Grange, Helena was made aware of the Help to Buy scheme by Crest Nicholson’s sales advisors. The scheme meant that the couple could afford a three-bedroom home, rather than the two-bedroom properties that they had originally viewed, giving them space to grow into.

“The house really stood out for us”, says George. “It has everything that we could wish for from our first home, and we absolutely love it”. Looking forward to their shared future at Notley Grange, the young couple commented that the Black Notley development will be: “the perfect place to bring up a family”.

Residents at the development benefit from being located within easy reach of Great Notley, which is home to a range of useful amenities such as a supermarket, doctor’s surgery and dentist, in addition to Notley Green Primary school, rated ‘Good’. The town of Braintree is also less than a ten-minute drive from the development, which provides a greater selection of shops and restaurants.

The young couple will also be making the most of Notley Grange’s excellent transport links, with Chelmsford within easy reach and London Liverpool Street just 50 minutes away on the train.

Commenting on the atmosphere at the development, George explains that; “since moving in, everyone has been so helpful”. As homes at the development continue to be built, builders have been on hand every step of the way as George and Helena settled into their new home.”

Homes at Notley Grange are available from £385,000 for a three-bedroom home. For more information please call 01376 798 000, or visit:
