Following its launch just last month, Crest Nicholson’s superb new Kilnwood Vale development has already proved a successful addition to the Crawley property market. Seven of the homes sold in the first fortnight alone, demonstrating the strong demand for affordable and stylish new properties in the area.

Attracting an array of prospective purchasers, ranging from first time buyers to growing families and indeed downsizers, Kilnwood Vale’s universal appeal is evident. With potential buyers visiting from the local area, but also further afield from cities such as Brighton and London, Kilnwood Vale’s unique combination of value for money, a high specification and easy commutability is crystallised.

Enjoying a thoughtfully arranged layout, each property benefits from either an open plan kitchen / dining room or an open plan living / dining room that is spacious enough to adapt to the varying demands of its residents. Sofas can be arranged in a cosy formation, whilst the additional living space can be used to accommodate a dining table – perfect for cosy family teatimes or even lavish dinner parties.  With the houses boasting double doors out onto the garden, living areas are flooded with natural light, enhancing the feel of extensive space still further.

Kitchens are fitted with co-ordinating worktops, integrated appliances and soft-close drawers, providing the optimum environment in which to create delicious dinners in stylish surroundings.

With generous bedrooms offering fitted wardrobes or plenty of space in which to position them, each property also boasts luxury bathrooms and en suites equipped with Roca suites that are elegantly finished with a glass bath screen or shower enclosures, Hansgrohe mixer taps and fittings, chrome towel rails and decorative mirrors.

The first phase of homes at the eagerly anticipated development will deliver a collection 200 new homes and will include two bedroom apartments and two, three and four-bedroom houses, as well as a new community area -  known as the Gateway Village Green -  plus a range of other municipal facilities including a neighbourhood park, play and sports area. Additional homes will then be delivered across a further four phases. When complete, the community will comprise of 2,500 homes.

Kilnwood Vale is thoroughly contemporary in concept but also draws on the principles of the Garden City movement, with tree-lined streets and generous amounts of green open space. External infrastructure, including cycle paths and bridleways will also be implemented from an early stage, fostering opportunities to use the wide outdoor spaces, and facilitating accessible links into Bewbush and across the A264 into Buchan Country Park.

Long term, additional facilities planned for Kilnwood Vale include local convenience stores, a library, sports pavilion, healthcare centre, primary school, which, will be delivered over the course of the wider development programme.
