Beating off stiff competition, the developer was not only crowned with the highly coveted Large Housebuilder of the Year 2014 title, but also scooped Sustainable Housebuilder of the Year and Best Regeneration Scheme for its Park Central development in Birmingham.

Following assessment by an independent panel of judges, the awards were presented during a high profile ceremony in London.  For Crest Nicholson, the prizes mark the culmination of a year in which the housebuilder has gone from strength to strength, continuing to deliver the high quality, sustainable new homes and communities that are the hallmark of its business, as well as opening a new division to serve the Northern Home Counties - increasing its delivery capacity into 2015 and beyond.

Chief Executive Stephen Stone commented: “We are delighted to have been acknowledged in this way at this year's Housebuilder Awards. Being recognised as both Large Housebuilder of the Year and Sustainable Housebuilder of the Year is an amazing achievement for us and a real validation of our work. These wins are a testament to Crest Nicholson's long standing reputation for delivering high quality homes and creating great places to live, as well as ensuring that the sustainability agenda is woven into the fabric of our business operation.”

Now in their tenth year, the Housebuilder Awards, delivered in association with NHBC and the Home Builders Federation, offer a showcase of best practice ideas and technology. They aim to recognise companies which are demonstrating a real commitment to innovation in the housebuilding industry, with the winners all having been recognised for driving forward quality in the delivery of new homes.
