Crest Nicholson South were the proud sponsors of the Surrey Half Marathon which took place in Woking this Sunday, 8th March.

The award winning developer provided 21,000 branded water bottles to runners and hosted a champagne and canapés reception for participants and observers in the Sales and Marketing suite of its Willow Reach development, adjacent to the route of the run.

Several Crest Nicholson team members and residents of Willow Reach took part in the event. The developer has set up a Just Giving page encouraging supporters to donate vital funds to the children’s charity, Variety -

Christine Tiernan, Sales & Marketing Director, Crest Nicholson South, said: “We were delighted to be sponsors of the Surrey Half Marathon; the route took runners right outside our Willow Reach development so it was important for us to be involved and to support this important community event. We provided water bottles for runners and, as part of our commitment to the local community we have arranged a large scale recycle scheme to help clear the streets of the used bottles.”

“We were really impressed with the efforts of entrants from Crest Nicholson and our Willow Reach residents and would like to congratulate all those who took part.”

Willow Reach is 1.4 miles from Woking station—a five minute journey by car, or 19 minutes by one of the many bus services with stops in the area. The National Express RailAir service provides transport from Woking station to Heathrow Airport in just 40 minutes. Woking is a 10 minute drive from the M25, M3, and A3.
