Crest Nicholson will launch Dylon Works in Lower Sydenham on Saturday 26th November. This new development will see the site of the former DYLON textiles dyeing factory transformed into a modern, high quality, mixed–use development comprising 223 residential apartments, retail space, a café and a crèche accommodating up to 80 children. First occupations are expected in early summer 2017.

Designed to cater to the first time buyer market, most of the 223 homes will be available using London Help to Buy. With prices starting at £389,995, this well-specified new development will boast Bosch appliances and composite stone works tops. The private residential apartments will be spread across eight storeys, with a staggered roofscape to ensure that all apartments benefit from natural light.  Most homes will also enjoy private balconies or terraces.

The development will be complemented with modern landscaping that will allow for a large communal residents’ garden featuring an abundance of plants and shrubs. The sustainably-built development also boasts London Yellow Stock brickwork, providing a connection to nearby residential buildings, as well as the surrounding landscape.

Located in London’s Zone 4, Lower Sydenham benefits from excellent connectivity to central London, with a journey time of just 16 minutes by train to London Bridge from Lower Sydenham railway station. Most apartments at Dylon Works will come with a secure underground car parking space, with provision for motorcycles and bicycles as well.

Sydenham is home to a number of charming pubs, independent boutiques and restaurants, all of which are within easy reach of the development. Extra space and green views are common place at Dylon Works, with the development nestled between Sydenham Hill Wood and Crystal Palace Park. Residents can enjoy weekends exploring the nearby Horniman Museum and its gardens, which are just ten minutes from Dylon Works.

Sean Ruane, Sales and Marketing Executive at Crest Nicholson London, said “We are pleased to launch our new Dylon Works development in up-and-coming Lower Sydenham. Designed to cater to the needs of first time buyers, all of the 1,2 and 3 bedroom apartments fall within London Help to Buy.

“Launching in late November, we anticipate a high-degree of interest from city professionals due to the development’s great transport links – allowing residents to access central London in 16 minutes. Dylon Works also benefits from a well-specified design surrounded by an abundance of outdoor space, making it the perfect first step on the property ladder.
