Award-winning developer Crest Nicholson has announced the launch of Mandeville Place, a collection of one and two-bedroom apartments and two, three and four-bedroom family homes, located in the popular village of Brampton, Cambridgeshire. This brand-new development will bring 56 much-needed homes to the area, and is launching on 17th and 18th of February, with first homes ready to move into by Spring.

Mandeville Place forms part of the wider redevelopment of RAF Brampton, after the military base was closed in 2013. Once complete, the development will offer a range of amenities useful for residents and the wider community, including allotments, play areas and sports pitches, making this an ideal location for a range of residents, young and old.

Homes at Mandeville Place are traditional in style, replicating the design of Georgian townhouses to reflect the vernacular of the surrounding area. The site itself possesses a rich history and was formerly owned by Lord Mandeville throughout WW1. Crest Nicholson paid homage to this heritage in the name of the development.

The homes at Mandeville Place have been finished to the highest standard, kitchens come fitted with integrated Bosch appliances and ample storage space, and bathrooms are complete with Hansgrohe taps and Roca Gap sanitaryware.

Residents at Mandeville Place will have access to an array of fantastic transport links. Nearby Huntingdon train station is just a five-minute drive from the development, and offers direct trains into London Kings Cross in little over an hour. In addition, for those travelling by car, the A1 and M11 are both within easy reach, offering excellent connectivity across the rest of Cambridgeshire and beyond.

Families will be well placed at Mandeville Place, with a selection of local schools in the catchment area, including Brampton Village Primary School, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, and Hichingbrooke School. The village of Brampton offers a warm and welcoming community, with a wealth of useful amenities such as a small supermarket, community centre, GP and a dental surgery. Nearby Huntingdon also enjoys a wide selection of shops, bars and restaurants, and the vibrant city of Cambridge is just a 45-minute drive from the development.

David Hnyda, Sales and Marketing Director at Crest Nicholson Chiltern, said: “The launch of Mandeville Park is an exciting milestone in the regeneration of RAF Brampton. There is undoubtedly a huge demand for new homes in the area, and at Mandeville Place we are offering a range of properties, designed to suit all types of home buyers to meet this need.

“We’re looking forward to welcoming new residents to this traditionally-inspired development, and watching the community at Mandeville Place flourish over the coming months.”
