This weekend (17th and 18th September) Crest Nicholson will celebrate the eagerly anticipated on-site launch of Arborfield Green, a 21st century Garden Village positioned just four miles from the centre of Wokingham.
The development enjoyed its launch back in May, when local estate agent’s Haslams’ converted its offices into a ‘pop-up shop’ for the development. But now, for the first time, prospective homeowners will have a chance to see the first phase of Arborfield Green, Waterman’s View, at the site itself; taking a look around the brand new show homes and seeing for themselves what life might be like living there.
Each of the new show homes offer stylish interiors, open plan layouts and contemporary exteriors designed to fit in seamlessly with the landscape of the local area.
Waterman’s View is a collection of 90 private homes comprised of 1 and 2 bedroom apartments and 2, 3, 4 and 5 bedroom houses. Nestled in the Berkshire countryside, Arborfield Green boasts peaceful surroundings and is only a 23-minute drive into Reading’s city centre, making it ideally suited to young professionals and first time buyers alike.
When complete, the entire Arborfield Green development will consist of around 2,000 homes, a new primary and secondary school, a library and a gym. There will also be a district centre with shops, food stores, bars and restaurants and a doctors’ surgery. Arborfield Green also comes with the added benefit of being only 4 miles from the M4 motorway, giving residents easy access to London and Bristol.
The Garden Village site is surrounded by over 2.5km of new bridleways and 5km of new footpaths, alongside 3 acres of new play areas and 4km of new cycle-paths. Crest Nicholson has also committed to creating new areas of country parkland to encourage biodiversity as well as providing open spaces for residents, such as the newly created Hazelbrook Meadow.
