Having previously owned a Crest Nicholson property at Oakgrove Village, in Milton Keynes, Gill and Robert Prince heard about the plans for the new Campbell Wharf development when it was under construction and immediately asked to be added to the waiting list. They purchased a two bedroom rooftop apartment at the popular canal-side development, using Crest’s Part Exchange scheme to sell an investment property they owned, and moved into their new home in February 2021.


Gill, a landscape photographer and copywriter, has been living in Milton Keynes for 28 years and is a big advocate of the area, due to its beautiful countryside - and the town’s layout, which is designed to maximise access to green space for all residents. She commented: “We love living in MK, and being able to walk for miles through parkland, without crossing a single road. We had our names on the list for Campbell Wharf before there was even list, and now we’re here, it’s amazing to be living by the Grand Union Canal. The scenic views of the horizon are among Gill and Rob’s favourite aspects of their new home, which offers a 270-degree view of the skyline from the 8x3m roof terrace. Rob, who is a software developer, also highlighted the beneficial layout of the property, noting, “the open-plan living area and kitchen allows a lot of natural sunlight in, while the second bedroom also functions as our home office, which is great whilst we’re both working from home.”
