Crest Nicholson’s Tadpole Garden Village development in Blunsdon has been shortlisted for Planning for Natural Environment at this year’s Planning Awards, which celebrate excellence in both planning and placemaking.
The category is open to developments which have improved areas through physical or environmental quality, and had a positive impact on the social and economic well-being of the communities. The winners will be announced at a ceremony taking place on the 4th of June at the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) in London.
Tadpole Garden Village is home to a thriving community and will comprise 1,855 homes upon completion. The development has been designed with Crest Nicholson’s Garden Village Principles in mind, creating a sustainable neighbourhood surrounded by open green space which promotes healthy living. The site features 149 acres of green space, playing fields and allotments including a new town park, eight children’s play areas and a common for all residents to enjoy.
A selection of homes are available to buy using the government’s Help to Buy scheme*, enabling prospective purchasers to secure their new home with just a 5% deposit. To find out more about the homes available at Tadpole Garden Village please visit www.crestnicholson.com/tadpole-garden-village/.
