Bath Riverside has recorded four sales in six weeks despite a sluggish market.
The sales have underlined the enduring appeal of Crest Nicholson Regeneration’s flagship development to buyers and investors who are proceeding with purchases despite a national and citywide slowdown.
Marcus Evans, sales and marketing director said: “These sales were achieved despite very difficult market conditions. There are many people in the market who have the money ready to buy, but it appears they had been holding back from converting interest into purchases until the Spring.”
“Bath continues to top key market surveys and appeals to Londoners looking for a new or second home down country. By train we are just 84 minutes away from London Paddington and this continues to draw people from the Capital looking for a home within commuting distance, a half-way house for visits to the West Country or as a buy to rent.”
Marcus Evans went on: “Previous purchasers have once again been active buying up a second and even third apartment at Bath Riverside – which suggests they are recognising the strength and longevity of their investment.
“And while big-ticket buyers have made up a significant percentage of our buyers – it’s important to make it clear there are a significant number of two-bedroom apartments for younger professionals looking for a place of their own in Bath.”
