Faith in development sees sales team swoop for city-centre pads
Sales staff at Bristol’s premier property development like it so much they have now bought properties of their own there.
Heather Murphy and Sheralyn Coombs who both work at Crest Nicholson’s Harbourside development have now reserved a one-bedroom apartment and studio-apartment respectively which they plan to either rent out or use as a city-centre bolt hole.
Having worked at the waterside development for a number of years, both have seen at close hand the remarkable transformation of what was a derelict eyesore into one of the country’s best inner-city regeneration projects that has provided a place where the people of Bristol can now live, work and enjoy their leisure time.
With properties at the waterside development fast running out both decided that the time was right to secure one of the last remaining apartments on the Invicta phase which have been selling particularly well since it was released at the end of 2012.
And as the development on the city’s historic floating harbour nears completion, both see their purchases as a long term commitment.
Heather said: “I’ve wanted to invest in a property here at Harbourside for the past five years and felt that now is the right time to buy. I’ve yet to decide on whether to rent the property out or keep it as a city-centre pad where I’ll be able to enjoy the sights and sounds of Bristol.
“Its prime location means that people will want to live here and be part of the city centre buzz. The additional draw of being next to the waterside is also very appealing for those looking to live in the area.”
Sheralyn added: “I’m delighted to have bought my studio apartment which I’ve bought as an investment for the future.
“Having bought a property at Harbourside proves that we both have faith in the product we’re selling to other house hunters which judging by recent sales shows that people like what they are seeing.”
With properties selling fast at the development, those interested are being advised to act soon. This includes one studio, one one-bedroom apartment plus a small number of two and three-bedroom apartments.
Both Heather and Sheralyn’s properties are located in Invicta which takes in views out across the water, ss Great Britain and replica of the Matthew.
Comprising 170 one, two and three-bedroom high-end apartments plus a number of one-bedroom studios, Invicta is spread over five floors and the variety of different styles and property sizes has proved popular with a range of buyers.
Heather added: “I couldn’t recommend Harbourside highly enough and anyone thinking about buying here really does need to act, as availability is fast running out.”
