Tamworth-based Crest Nicholson employee named Apprentice of the Year at annual awards

Crest Nicholson employee Cameron Lang has won Gold in the ‘Apprentice of The Year’ category at the company’s Customer Experience Awards 2018. The 19-year old commercial apprentice is currently based at Crest Nicholson Midlands’ head office.

Currently training to be a Quantity Surveyor and studying a BSc Quantity Surveying degree alongside his full-time role with Crest Nicholson, Cameron has worked for Crest Nicholson Midlands since October 2017. The Midlands division, based in Tamworth, launched at this time to support its ongoing growth strategy.

The annual Awards, now in their 26th year, celebrate employees who deliver outstanding customer care in their roles as Apprentices, Sales Advisors, Site Managers and Customer Service teams. The prestigious Apprentice of the Year award recognises those who have demonstrated commitment to their personal development and has made an outstanding contribution to their workplace.

The awards ceremony was held on Wednesday 4th July at Great Fosters Hotel in Egham, Surrey. The annual awards are a key date in Crest Nicholson’s calendar, providing a chance to recognise the excellence within the business across a variety of areas.

Cameron Lang, Gold award winning Apprentice, said: “I feel very honoured to receive this award as I am aware of the exceptional talent amongst all of the Apprentices at Crest Nicholson. To be acknowledged for the hard work and effort I put in is hugely gratifying, and I am proud to receive this accolade within such a reputable company. I owe a lot to the people around me at work, their guidance and patience with me as an Apprentice is the reason I was able to win this award.”

Ben Miller, Managing Director at Crest Nicholson Midlands, said: “We’re very proud of Cameron for winning this prestigious award, which is a testament to the excellent progress he has made since joining us last October. As a new region for Crest Nicholson, the Midlands team has worked exceptionally hard over that last 10 months, and we look forward to seeing more success from employees across the region as we continue to grow.”
