Award-winning developer Crest Nicholson celebrated the summer by hosting an ‘Open-Air’ cinema event for residents at its Halo development on Saturday 19th August. Creating a new community was one of the core values when designing Halo, and this event was an ideal opportunity for local residents to come together and enjoy box office smash hit ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’ in a peaceful setting on the green outside the development’s marketing suite.
Residents from Halo and other local Great Kneighton developments were invited to enjoy the open-air cinema with deck chairs and free popcorn to provide some tasty treats during the film. The show was put on by Crest Nicholson and Enchanted Cinema, a Cambridge-based pop-up cinema company that brings open-air films to locations around the city and surrounding areas.
Halo is ideally situated just off Long Road and is fast becoming a popular choice for families thanks to its proximity to good schools, leading the developer to put on this community event for all ages to enjoy. The development provides the perfect setting for city living, with all the amenities Cambridge has to offer within easy reach, whilst being tucked away from the hustle and bustle of busy urban life.
Annette Cole, Sales and Marketing Director at Crest Nicholson Eastern, said: “The open-air cinema event was a fantastic chance for residents at Halo and the surrounding area to come together to enjoy the late August sunshine and a great film last Saturday. At Crest Nicholson, we recognise the importance of developing communities, and this event was a great example of our commitment to this.”
