Kent Site Manager Wins Top National Company Award

A local site manager has won top prize at housebuilder Crest Nicholson’s annual national Site Manager of the Year awards ceremony. Ian Smith, who has worked for Crest Nicholson for almost 20 years, beat off competition from across the country to be presented with the Silver Award at the ceremony on Wednesday.

Ian won the award for his dedication to delivering the very best build quality at the Liberty Park development in Wainscott, Kent.

Stephen Stone, Chief Executive, Crest Nicholson PLC, comments: “Crest Nicholson’s site managers play a key role in ensuring that we continue to deliver homes of the very highest standard. All of our Site Managers work extremely hard to maintain the quality of the company’s sites and the working environment for their teams. Ian has shown great drive and dedication in his work at Liberty Park and feedback from his team and from customers has been exceptional. We are extremely proud of Ian and are delighted to be able to reward him for all his hard work and dedication.”

Ian commented: “I am absolutely thrilled to have won the Silver award but I couldn’t have done it without the support of my team, all of whom have contributed to Liberty Park being such a success. It’s great to be honoured for doing a job that I really enjoy and there’s nothing better than seeing a happy buyer settled in their new home.”

Crest Nicholson’s annual Site Manager Awards form part of the company’s on-going commitment to delivering the very best in customer service as well as delivering comprehensive training and support for staff to ensure they have all the skills and information they need to perform to the very best of their abilities. Crest Nicholson is also committed to supporting the new generation of property industry employees, having a well-established apprentice training programme and a recently revamped graduate recruitment programme.

Currently available at Liberty Park are stylish two, three and four-bedroom houses. Externally, properties blend traditional design elements, such as weatherboarding and hanging tiles, with features including dormer windows and varied roof elevations to create a development that suits the Kent vernacular. Homes are situated on pretty tree-lined boulevards surrounded by landscaped open space.
