Award-winning developer Crest Nicholson has announced its support for Aiden’s Ball, a charity event taking place at Dunchurch Park Hotel on Saturday 28th October. The ball has been organised by Daventry-based couple Shay and Lucy Brennan, in support of their son Aiden who was diagnosed with Down Syndrome at birth.
The black-tie fundraiser is in aid of The Down Syndrome Group Northamptonshire (DSGN), a local charity that supports children and adults with Down’s Syndrome, and Friends of Staverton School, (FOSS), the school where Aiden is a pupil. These vital funds will help DSGN to continue to provide both Speech and Language Therapists and Occupational Therapists for schools, and enable FOSS to purchase specialist accessible play equipment.
Crest Nicholson has donated £1,000 towards the ball, which will help both the organisation of the event, as well as providing continued support to both DSGN and FOSS. A ticket for the ball includes a drinks reception and three-course dinner, as well as live entertainment including a fire breather, fireworks, charity auction and a live band.
David Hnyda, Sales and Marketing Director at Crest Nicholson Chiltern, said: “We’re extremely proud to be supporting this worthwhile cause. The funds raised from the ball will aid a fantastic local charity – DSGN, as well as Staverton School, both of which provide crucial support to children in the local community. At Crest Nicholson, we’re committed to supporting the areas in which we develop, which is why we were pleased to be able to provide funding to assist this event.
The ball is set to be a great event, and with tickets selling fast we’d urge those interested to snap up the last remaining places now!”
