Crest Nicholson has seen a record number of sales at its Park Central development this summer, leaving just three homes available to purchase.

During June and July, the award winning housebuilder secured a total of 27 reservations (15 in June and 12 in July), more than double the average six sales a month that are typically regarded as the norm at Park Central. The majority of these summer sales have been one and two bedroom apartments in Park Central’s Central Plaza phase which sits at the heart of the two parks at the development.

Following these strong sales, there are now only three homes available to purchase in the current phases at Park Central, including two penthouses and a one bedroom apartment.

Amanda Gales, Sales Manager at Park Central, said: “Typically, you expect the summer months to be quieter in terms of sales as people focus their attention and money on going on holiday however, this summer, we have certainly bucked the trend at Park Central.

“In July, we released our four stylish penthouses for sale in the second building of Park Central and, in just three weeks, we had already reserved two of these properties, leaving just two for sale.

“Compared to last summer, sales have increased by an impressive 80 per cent. This is largely due to the increasing confidence within the property market and the subsequent rise in demand for new homes in Birmingham.

“Park Central continues to be the most active residential development in Birmingham city centre. For the site to have remained one of the most popular places to live for the past ten years is testament to the high quality, design-led homes being delivered. Building on the success to date, we will continue to provide desirable homes at Park Central as we move forward with future phases at the development.”

The two remaining penthouses at Park Central are both priced at £250,000 and boast outstanding views across the eight acres of parkland at the development, as well as the city centre beyond. Both of the properties have been built with high quality fixtures and fittings, including designer bathrooms and kitchens. Additionally, the penthouses benefit from a spacious balcony that is perfect for entertaining, as well as large windows that create a bright and open living space.

Park Central is located off Lee Bank Middleway and is already home to more than 1,000 new homeowners. The development is ideally situated for people working in Birmingham, with the business quarter situated less than a 30 minute walk away. Additionally, the many bars and restaurants at Brindleyplace (as well as the businesses based there) are just five minutes from the properties at Park Central. For those commuting to work, Five Ways train station is a five minute walk away.
