Lizzie Ibbs, a 33-year-old nurse at Lewisham hospital, has purchased her first home at Crest Nicholson’s Evoco development in West Wickham, using the Help to Buy London scheme.

Lizzie bought the one-bedroom apartment in May, and is looking forward to moving into her new home over the summer. Lizzie is living with her mother in nearby Beckenham in order to save for the deposit, so wanted to stay close by and knew that she liked West Wickham as an area.

Lizzie said; “if it wasn’t for the Help to Buy London scheme, I wouldn’t have been able to afford to buy in West Wickham, I would have been forced to move out of London entirely.”

“I love the location of Evoco, it is just perfect. It’s very central, with all of West Wickham’s restaurants and pubs just around the corner, as well as the high street which also has a lot to offer. The town itself has a lovely community feel to it, yet with the train station situated just around the corner, you can be in central London in just over 30 minutes.”

The development is situated just a 15-minute drive from Lewisham Hospital, where Lizzie works, which comes as an added bonus for the First Time Buyer.

The stylish kitchen was another selling point for Lizzie, which she describes as “everything I could have asked for, I just love the colours that have been used.” Lizzie also notes that the property itself is generously sized, and has been finished to a very modern design.

Lizzie praised the sales team at Evoco for helping her with the buying process from start to finish. “As a First Time Buyer, the prospect of purchasing a home was fairly daunting, but the sales team at Crest Nicholson has been amazing throughout the entire process, I cannot thank them enough for all their help.”

Properties are still available to buy at Evoco, with prices starting from £198,000 on Help to Buy, requiring a deposit of as little as £16,500. The Crest Nicholson marketing suite and show homes are open daily, from 10am to 5pm. To schedule an appointment call 0203 829 5833
