Crest Nicholson has scooped large Housebuilder of the Year for the second year running at the 2015 Housebuilder Awards. Winning the top award capped off a successful evening for the leading developer as Crest Nicholson was also named winner in Best Community Initiative category and Best Design (four storeys or more).
The Best Community Initiative award came in recognition of the success of Crest Nicholson’s creation of a Community Interest Company (CIC), a key element in the building of a sustainable community at Tadpole Garden Village in Swindon. The Best Design (four storeys or more) award recognised the stylish Townhouse Collection at Bath Riverside.
Further success was achieved with two highly commended accolades for Sustainable Housebuilder of the Year and Best Regeneration Initiative awarded for Crest Nicholson’s ambitious Bath Riverside development.
The prestigious Housebuilder Awards, organised by Housebuilder magazine and supported by both the NHBC and HBF, were presented by comedian Tim Vine at a packed London venue on Thursday 5th November. The awards recognise excellence across a range of housebuilding disciplines.
Stephen Stone, Crest Nicholson CEO, said: “We are extremely proud to have been awarded large Housebuilder of the Year at the Housebuilder Awards for the second year running. This award is testament to all of our employees who remain dedicated to achieving our vision of creating vibrant, sustainable communities and we are delighted to see this recognised through this prestigious award win.
Our industry-leading developments at Tadpole Garden Village and Bath Riverside in particular showcase the strength of work we do and are very much deserving winners.”
