Creative Minds

Pupils at Bohunt School in Arborfield Green put their creative talent to work in aid of a good cause this week (Tuesday) when the school held an art competition in aid of mental health charity MIND.

Parents and pupils were invited to submit photographs or drawings on the theme of mental health with proceeds from the exhibition on Tuesday 9 May, being donated to the charity.

Exhibition entries were displayed in the school with the best six receiving £20 gift vouchers provided by Crest Nicholson.

Commenting on the school’s initiative, Crest Nicholson’s Senior Development Director, Anil Bungar, said: “Crest Nicholson is delighted to support this excellent initiative. For too long mental health has been a taboo subject and it is initiatives like this that are needed to raise awareness and discussion about an illness that can affect young people as well as adults, as recently highlighted by Princes William and Harry”.
