Crest Nicholson to develop over 200 residential apartments in up-and-coming Lower Sydenham

Crest Nicholson has announced plans for an exciting new development in Lower Sydenham, South East London, following its acquisition of the former DYLON textile dyeing factory site. 

The building will be transformed into a mixed-use development comprising 223 private residential apartments, retail space, a café and a crèche accommodating up to 80 children. 

The private residential apartments will be spread up to eight storeys, with a staggered roofscape and roof gardens to ensure that all apartments benefit from great views and natural light.  All apartments will have private balconies or terraces.

Modern landscaping of the site will allow for a large communal residents’ garden featuring an abundance of plants and shrubs as well as recreational areas with plenty of space for children to play safely. 

The sustainably-built development will feature London Yellow Stock brickwork, providing a connection to nearby residential buildings as well as the surrounding landscape. 

The development benefits from excellent connectivity to central London, just 23 minutes by train to Charing Cross or Cannon Street from Lower Sydenham railway station. The development will also feature an underground carpark with provision for motorcycles and bicycles as well as cars.
