Growing family uses Help to Buy scheme to move into new home at Crest Nicholson’s Hansford Park

Local couple Emma and Tim Nuttall and their two children, Alice and Aria, recently moved into their new home at Crest Nicholson’s Hansford Park in Houlton. The family purchased their new four-bedroom house for £339,950 using the government-backed Help to Buy scheme.

Having made the short move from Rugby town centre, Emma was enthusiastic about the benefits of their new home compared to their old Edwardian terraced house. As the new owners of a semi-detached ‘Walberswick’ house, Emma and Tim are particularly pleased with the spacious bedrooms, which provide plenty of room for their growing family. The large windows flood the home with natural light, enhancing the sense of light and space throughout the house, and were a feature the couple loved.

Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Rugby town centre but with great connectivity and everything needed for modern family living, Hansford Park has been the ideal location for the Nuttalls to upsize as their family grows.

A big factor in the Nuttall’s decision to move into Hansford Park was the idea of being at the heart of the flourishing community of Houlton, with everything that the family needs within easy reach. When they’re old enough, their daughters will attend St Gabriel’s C of E Academy, a newly opened primary school at the centre of the Houlton development, just a short walk from their new family home. The Houlton community also boasts an award-winning café, The Tuning Fork, plans for a health centre and 500 acres of green open space, which the family can’t wait to explore.

Tim works for a chemical distribution company in nearby Rugby and is looking forward to being able to commute to work on the planned link road between the development and the town. Meanwhile Emma, who is currently on maternity leave, works as an administrator at Warwickshire County Council and anticipates that the expansion of the community will provide efficient public transport routes into other local towns.

Prices for a four-bedroom home at Hansford Park start from £339,950, while one- and two-bedroom apartments are available from £169,950 and £189,950, and three bedroom homes start from £267,950.
