Crest Nicholson’s Eastern Division has raised £1,023 for Macmillan Cancer Support by taking part in the charity’s annual ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ for the second year running, an initiative which encourages people across the UK to get together over a cup of coffee to raise money for those living with cancer.
The team at Crest Nicholson’s Eastern Division headquarters in Brentwood encouraged staff to bring in homemade cakes, biscuits and sweet treats, which were enjoyed by members of staff along with cups of coffee on Friday 30th of September.
Events were held across all Crest Nicholson developments in the region from Cambridge to Kent, to Suffolk, in addition to the head office in Essex. The award-winning housebuilder is a committed supporter of the Macmillan Coffee Mornings, raising £800 at the same event in 2015.
Annette Cole, Sales and Marketing Director at Crest Nicholson’s Eastern division, said:
“We’re delighted to have raised over £1,000 for Macmillan – a charity which does a fantastic job supporting those living with cancer. After last year’s successful Coffee Morning, it is brilliant to have raised even more money for the charity this year.”
Macmillan is one of the UK’s largest charities which provides specialist health care, information and financial support to people affected by cancer. The Macmillan Coffee Morning takes place across the UK every September, and the flagship fundraising event is now in its 26th year.
