New parents, Becky Woolford, 26, and her boyfriend, Michael Farbrother, 31, recently moved into their new home at Crest Nicholson’s Mulberry View, in Wokingham. The couple purchased a three-bedroom home for £560,000 with Crest Nicholson paying their Stamp Duty fees in full.


The move was a simple and stress-free transition for the couple, who said “we would’ve struggled to afford our new home” and move in ahead of the arrival of their three-month-old baby Albie, without Crest Nicholson covering their Stamp Duty.


Becky and Michael previously lived at Crest Nicholson’s Mulberry Grove for two years, before seeing Mulberry View being built nearby. Despite loving their old property, “we knew we liked the new, bigger homes already,” said Becky, adding that the extra space would help accommodate their growing family. “We knew we wanted a new build again,” which helped make their decision to purchase quick and simple.  


Becky, a local Council worker and originally from the Wokingham area, was keen to raise her family in the town in which she grew up. She said it is “handy being so close to the local park,” which is why their new three-bedroom house stood out to them from the start. Situated on a quiet cul-de-sac, their new home offers a “safe location” for their children to grow and boasts a desirable south-facing garden for the entire family to enjoy.


Mulberry View offered “an overall nicer look” than other new builds in the local area, according to the couple. Another part of the area’s appeal was the selection of good local schools nearby, including Keep Hatch Primary School just a short walk from the development and rated Good by OFSTED.


Becky also said that “we now class the Crest Nicholson staff as friends” and felt “comfortable and confident” in how they were treated by the team. The sales advisors were “so quick and attentive when responding to any requests, which meant that we always felt looked after” throughout the moving process.


Three-bedroom homes at Mulberry View are available from £499,950, while prices for four-bedroom homes begin at £624,950.
