On Saturday 16th February Crest Nicholson will be offering a unique opportunity to ‘Ask the Experts’ at an exclusive home buyer event, hosted at Highlands Park in Henley-on-Thames. From first-time buyers to second-steppers or those looking to downsize, a range of independent property experts will be on hand to offer tailored advice and support on property ownership in the local area.

Hosted on-site at the Marketing Suite, the event will be running from 11am to 4pm, with booking an appointment in advance highly recommended to ensure experts have time to answer any specific questions. The day will offer a chance for prospective buyers to find out more about the buying process and receive a personalised recommendation on their next steps. There will also be an exclusive home buyer guide available on the day for visitors to take away.

Local selling agents, solicitors and independent financial advisors will be on hand, alongside the Crest Nicholson team, to offer free, tailored advice. The event is designed to help guide those looking to get onto or move up the property ladder as they embark on the purchasing process.

David Hnyda, Sales & Marketing Director at Crest Nicholson Chiltern comments: “We understand buying your home can be a stressful and confusing process, so want to offer potential buyers the opportunity to have their questions and any concerns addressed by a panel of independent experts in a convenient, accessible way. We’d like to encourage as many house hunters as possible to attend our event, as it will be great opportunity to find out more about the buying process in Henley-on-Thames.”

“Visitors are able to take a tour of our available show homes and ask us direct questions about anything from the Help to Buy scheme and Part Exchange to the benefits of new build properties, or more general queries on the local housing market.”

The property event will offer more information on the government’s Help to Buy scheme, with many homes at Highlands Park available using this scheme, enabling house hunters to take a bigger step up the property ladder. Under the initiative, buyers could be eligible for an interest free equity loan for up to 20% of the property value enabling you to secure your dream home with a 5% deposit. The remaining 75% is covered by a mortgage, allowing people to purchase your dream home for less. Available on new build homes worth up to £600,000 until 2021, Help to Buy is not just for first-time buyers and can also be used by second-steppers looking to move up the property ladder.
