Annie Masciave (29) had been searching for a new home for some time but fell in love with Bond House when she came across the New Cross area. Annie and her friend Clelia purchased a two-bedroom apartment for £530,000 together and took advantage of the government backed Help-to-Buy London: Equity Loan scheme to help take their first step on to the property ladder and Crest Nicholson’s Stamp Duty incentive.

The development’s location was unmatched as it boasts excellent travel links that allows Annie to get to her job in under an hour. “I was astounded at how easy and accessible Bond House is to the rest of London, with the station just around the corner from my home.”

The neighbourhood surrounding Bond House hosts a vibrant scene and community. New Cross is a creative hub, home to a thriving music and arts culture as well as Goldsmith’s University. “New Cross really captured me with its up-and-coming scene and lively neighbourhood. I particularly enjoy attending graduate gallery openings at Goldsmith’s University. I’ve always wanted to live in a place like this, especially as some of my friends live in the area too.”

On the apartment itself, Annie said that the “building’s design was a real draw as the apartment is flooded with natural light and features a private balcony.” Annie loved the high-quality finish of everything in the apartment and the size of the kitchen “was amazing for hosting friends.”

Annie explained that “We wanted to find a home that would be perfect for myself and Clelia.” Bond House fitted both our criteria and the area’s vibrant social scene makes for the perfect place to be.” Annie continued: “The Crest Nicholson sales team were great and made the process very smooth”.
