Crest Nicholson is hosting an event for military buyers in the South West region to find out more about Forces Help to Buy. The information sessions will take place at Tadpole Garden Village in Swindon on Saturday 24th August from 10am to 4pm.

Perfect for the 5,800 plus service personnel stationed at the Royal Air Force Brize Norton base in Oxfordshire, those with at least six months left to serve may be eligible to apply for the Forces Help to Buy scheme when buying a brand new home. All regular armed forces personnel that have completed the pre-requisite length of service and meet certain medical requirements are eligible for the support.

Forces Help to Buy allows all armed forces personnel to borrow up to 50% of their salary, to a maximum of £25,000, on an interest free loan to support the purchase of a new home. The loan can be put towards a deposit, estate agent and/or solicitor fees. It can be used to buy a first home or move on from your current home.

Sandra Dixon, Sales and Marketing Director at Crest Nicholson South West said: “Forces Help to Buy is an excellent scheme for armed forces personnel to take advantage of when looking to buy a new home. With the incentive only available until 31 December this year, we strongly encourage those interested to come along to our information session to find out more!”
