Crest Nicholson’s Finberry development in Ashford has been shortlisted for Best Housing Scheme at this year’s Planning Awards, which celebrate excellence in both planning and placemaking.

The category is open to developments of 500 homes or more which have had a positive impact on the social and economic well-being of the communities in the area. The winners will be announced at a ceremony taking place on the 4th of June at the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) in London.

Finberry is a vibrant new village comprising a collection of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes, suitable for a range of buyers from growing families, to downsizers and first-time buyers. Residents will have access to a wide array of amenities, including a community centre, sports facilities, a play area and a primary school.

The development is well connected, benefitting from excellent transport links on its doorstep. Ashford International train station nearby provides regular trains into London St Pancras station in less than 40 minutes. While those looking to travel by car can easily access the M25.
