Natalie, 31, and her husband, David Murphy, 36, recently moved into their new home at Crest Nicholson’s Hoadlands Grange, in Handcross. The couple live with their 10-year-old daughter, Megan, and their French bulldog Rodney.

The family have found their ideal home at the “attractive, modern development nestled amongst nature.” Natalie and David were initially impressed by Hoadlands Grange’s excellent location, as it is surrounded by untouched West Sussex countryside with plenty of space for Meghan to play and a number of walking routes. The market village is also close by which offers a wide variety of amenities such as local boutiques, a butcher, post office and pubs.

Natalie and David previously lived in a four-bedroom property but fell in love with a three-bedroom ‘Meadow’ home on the development as “it ticked all of the boxes.” The home boasts an open plan kitchen and dining room, with integrated appliances and French doors leading into their spacious garden.

“It was fundamental for us to find a plot with a South facing garden,” said David, “we benefit from copious amounts of natural light throughout the house but most of all, we wanted to be able to sit outside and entertain family and friends in the warmer months.”

The family “couldn’t be happier with the plot” they chose, from the gunmetal finishes on the exteriors to its ideal positioning, “we can’t wait to get out in the garden this summer both at the weekend and in the evenings after work,” said David.

Hoadlands Grange is nestled within the picturesque High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The abundance of green spaces creates an idyllic setting, with winding walking paths across the development, ideal for family outings. “The property is very peaceful and quiet as we are facing woodland and we love that Meghan can spend so much time outdoors in a beautiful, safe area, surrounded by nature,” added Natalie.

Despite being in a rural setting, Handcross benefits from excellent transport links which was also a key selling point for the family. The site is just a 15-minute drive away from Horsham via the nearby A23, which provides easy access to Brighton and Gatwick Airport, ideal for commuters and those looking to travel further afield. David said, “since moving, my commute has been cut in half which means more time at home with the family, and I have a much better work-life balance now and so does Natalie”.

Two-bedroom homes at Hoadlands Grange are available from £359,950, three-bedroom homes from £439,950, while prices for four-bedroom homes begin at £664,950. Apartments are available from £290,000.  For more information about the development or the Help to Buy or Part Exchange scheme*, please call 01444 708711 or visit www.crestnicholson.com/hoadlands-grange.
