On Sunday 14th April, dog-lovers in Henley are invited to bring their canine companions together for a healthy day out in the Oxfordshire countryside at Crest Nicholson’s Highlands Park development.  In celebration of National Pet Month, the developer is hosting a dog walking event for local people, with attendees receiving goodie bags filled with dog treats for their four-legged friends to enjoy.

The walk will begin and end at the development’s marketing suite, starting at 10.30am and taking a 60-minute route of the scenic countryside.

National Pet Month is a nationwide event which aims to unite animal welfare charities, professional bodies, pet businesses, schools, youth groups and pet lovers each year. Highlands Park is a perfect location for dog owners, providing plenty of nearby open green spaces, expansive woodland areas perfect for long walks and a veterinary centre on the doorstep.

David Hnyda, Sales & Marketing Director at Crest Nicholson Chiltern commented: “We are delighted to welcome all dogs and their owners to our dog walk taking place this Sunday at Highlands Park. The event offers the perfect opportunity to explore the development’s stunning surroundings and socialise with other like-minded local people.

“For many, pets play an integral part of family life and when it comes to looking for a new home, often finding somewhere that suits the needs of a pet is high up on the priority list. Highlands Park is the ideal development for dog owners, thanks to its spacious back gardens and a range of beautiful open spaces to explore on the doorstep.”

Highlands Park offers home owners the best of both worlds, offering the countryside lifestyle with easy access to the popular market town of Henley-on-Thames. The Henley community is renowned for its idyllic riverside relaxation and hospitality. Each year, locals enjoy Henley’s summer Regatta, arts festival and the Rewind music festival. Highlands Park’s proximity to Twyford is also convenient for travelling, with the railway station connecting to London Paddington directly in under 50 minutes.
