Highlands Park The Keswick

Local Oxfordshire housebuilder Crest Nicholson hosted a summer party to celebrate the local community and independent businesses at its popular Highlands Park development in Henley-on-Thames, on 15th July.

Crest Nicholson, residents of Highlands Park, and prospective buyers came together to enjoy food, drinks and gift stalls, including from independent businesses based in the area, such as ice cream from Crosstown Ice Cream, soy candles from House of Hackea, and photo prints from a local maker.

Local residents had the opportunity to socialise and get to know one another, whilst prospective buyers had the chance to find out more about the homebuying process, chat to potential new neighbours, tour the show homes and speak to an independent financial advisor from The New Homes Group.

As part of its commitment to supporting the wider community, Crest Nicholson is also sponsoring an ‘eights’ event for the Henley Town and Visitors Regatta this month, for the second year running. Run by volunteers, and not for profit, the Town and Visitors Regatta is the only event of the year which enables residents and visitors to have access to the Royal Regatta’s riverside free of charge. The event is taking place on Saturday 29th July, where boats will race upstream on the historic course. A team from Crest Nicholson will attend on the day, ride on the umpire launch for the final race and present the trophy to the winning crew.

Charlie Joseph, Sales and Marketing Director at Crest Nicholson Chiltern, said: “It was great to celebrate our community with a summer party for everyone to enjoy. Events like these mean that existing residents and the wider community can get to know one another. Plus, prospective buyers can see what it would be like to live at Highlands Park and find out more about the home buying process.”

“As part of our commitment to the local community, we are looking forward to hosting more events of our own in the future for everyone to enjoy. We are also excited to play a role in the Town and Visitors Regatta this year, including riding in the umpire launch, and support other important events for the town.”

Located in the heart of the rolling Oxfordshire countryside, Highlands Park is an enviable development situated on the edge of the historic market town of Henley-on-Thames. Residents of the development can take advantage of the wide array of independent shops, cafes and restaurants located in the bustling town. Being in close proximity to the towns of Reading and Maidenhead, residents can reach further facilities and London by train.
