Local Oxfordshire housebuilder Crest Nicholson and residents of its idyllic Highlands Park development in Henley-on-Thames are organising a street party for the community, to celebrate the King’s Coronation.

The local community are invited to the event on Sunday 7th May, from 12 midday, to enjoy a fun-packed day involving Coronation-themed face painting, food, drink and decorations.

Residents of Highlands Park are bringing coronation-themed food, such as cucumber sandwiches to share with their neighbours. Local suppliers such as Henley-on-Thames-based Atticus and Hope will be supplying the decorations, red, white and blue bunting, flags and balloons, as well as delicious cupcakes; Oxfordshire-based face painter Lapis Lizard will be on hand to create some gorgeous designs on people’s faces; plus specialist mobile coffee company Rolling Bean will be providing teas and coffees.

Charlie Joseph, Sales and Marketing Director at Crest Nicholson Chiltern, said: “We’ve really enjoyed working with local residents at Highlands Park to organise the street party for the King’s Coronation, and we can’t wait to see everyone coming together to mark the day.

“The event will give residents the chance to celebrate the King’s Coronation with their friends, families and neighbours. We also encourage anyone who wants to meet people in the community to come down to meet their potential neighbours and find out more about what life is like at Highlands Park, and why it is such a great community.”
