Award-winning housebuilder, Crest Nicholson, will launch their marketing suite at a preview event for its new Claybourne development in Steeple Claydon on Saturday 1st February. The development comprises an exclusive collection of two, three, four, and five bedroom houses in the popular rural village, situated in the heart of Buckinghamshire.

With a range of house types to choose from, the homes at Claybourne are suited to many potential purchasers, from first time buyers to second steppers and downsizers. The properties have been constructed with a traditional exterior, in keeping with the rural location, and offer a number of spacious layouts to choose from to suit the needs of the buyer. In total, there will 95 units on the development.

David Hnyda, Sales and Marketing Director at Crest Nicholson Chiltern, commented: “We are delighted to announce the launch of our new Claybourne development which will be coming very soon to Steeple Claydon. It offers purchasers the chance to become part of an established village community in this scenic area of Buckinghamshire, ideally located between the major towns of Milton Keynes, Buckingham, Bicester and Aylesbury. With the marketing suite opening in a matter of weeks and interest already high, potential purchasers should register on our website as soon as possible to avoid missing out on their property of choice.”

The Government-backed Help to Buy: Equity Loan scheme is available on a selection of properties at the development, allowing home hunters to buy with just a 5% deposit. Under the scheme, the government offers an interest free equity loan of up to 20% of the cost of the home, meaning that only a 75% mortgage is needed to make up the rest.

Selected homes at Claybourne are also available with Crest Nicholson’s SmoothMove scheme, which takes the hassle out of selling your current home. SmoothMove takes care of everything from getting the purchasers current house valued, to booking viewing times and paying estate agents’ fees. Alternatively, for those that have home already to sell, buyers may be eligible to use the Part Exchange scheme, helping purchasers sell their existing home with a guaranteed cash buyer before moving.

Claybourne offers the best of both worlds, enjoying a tranquil rural location, as well as plenty of amenities on its doorstep including shops, pubs, doctor surgery, plus a good selection of schools, such as the nearby primary Steeple Claydon School and Sir Thomas Fremantle secondary school. There are also excellent transport connections with nearby roads linking to the A41, M40 and M41, as well as being 20 minutes’ drive from Milton Keynes Central station, which runs services to London Euston.
