Award-winning developer Crest Nicholson has unveiled two outstanding four bedroom show homes at its sought-after Lancaster Grange development, in the charming village of Bricket Wood in Hertfordshire.

The Aiken and The Manfield house types are now officially open for prospective purchasers to view, featuring vibrant décor by Interiors by Dapa and Show Business. The homes showcase the innovative design on offer, high specification throughout and give a nod to the areas’ fascinating history dating back to the Second World War.

The three storey Aiken show home maximises both space and light, featuring floor to ceiling windows and a range of flexible rooms, perfect for family living. Ideal for entertaining guests, the kitchen and dining area boasts bi-folding doors opening onto the garden, bringing the outside in all year round. The fully fitted kitchen also provides integrated appliances, including a Siemens double oven with induction hob, dishwasher and fridge freezer.

The first floor is host to a spacious living room and a private study space which could also transform into a play area for children. A generously sized double bedroom and family bathroom can also be found on this floor.

The second floor provides a retreat from the living areas in the rest of the home, offering a further three double bedrooms, with ensuite and fully fitted wardrobes to the master room. This level also features a bathroom with contemporary white sanitaryware, bath with shower enclosure and sleek tile detailing throughout.

Rebecca Harris, Senior Interior Design Sales Manager at Interiors By Dapa, comments: “We designed the Aiken show home at Lancaster Grange with a professional couple in mind, with a young son and daughter. The design of the house really lends itself well to families, particularly the open plan living and study area. In this area we incorporated a feature wall to create a strong backdrop to the concrete style furniture, alongside vibrant cushion fabrics and burnt orange curtains injecting further vibrancy to this space.

Artwork is key in interior design, not only does it reflect & enhance the space, artwork adds real personality & creativity to a property, turning it from a house into a home.  In this scheme we selected stunning abstract artwork with beautiful blues & orange tones, creating a great finish to this slick & industrial design.”

David Hnyda, Sales & Marketing Director at Crest Nicholson Chiltern, comments: “The brand-new show homes at Lancaster Grange offer an opportunity for potential purchasers to view first-hand the beautiful craftmanship and design which goes into each home at the development. The interior design really demonstrates how versatile these homes are in adapting to the needs of the purchaser, whether that’s a growing family or young professionals looking for a little more space.”

Ideal for commuters into the capital, Lancaster Grange offers excellent transport links. Watford Junction is a 10-minute drive away, where trains reach London Euston in just 35-minutes. Bricket Wood station is also less than a mile from Lancaster Grange, providing additional train services to nearby towns and cities. For drivers, there is easy access to the M25 and M1, and for those travelling further afield, Heathrow airport is just a 30-minute drive for the development.
