Disclaimer
*The £5,000 is provided in the form of a voucher for interior options upgrades and the interior options must be selected from our range of interior option upgrades. The offer is not available on all properties and is only available to key workers as described in the offer terms and conditions
Terms and Conditions
- “Crest Nicholson” is referred to as “Crest Nicholson”, “we”, “us”, or “our”. Our Key Worker Scheme is available on our new build homes only, only on selected plots and is subject to contract and eligibility criteria. To qualify you must be a key worker as set out below and provide us with satisfactory evidence of your status as a key worker and your ability to buy a new build home from us.
- You will be required to enter into a reservation agreement and pay the reservation fee to reserve a new build home from us and exchange contracts on that purchase, and those events may be required by us to have happened by certain dates.
- To be classed as a key worker you must be directly employed by and work for one of the following bodies in the UK and have been employed by them for at least 3 months:
- NHS
- Police Force.
- Fire Service.
- Education Body, e.g. school, college, university or other formal education body. This does not include pre-school education.
- Ministry of Defence.
- Highways England.
- Probation Service.
- Environmental Service.
- Prison Service.
- Local Authority.
- You will need to provide to us payslips or other satisfactory proof of your employment for the required period. You must still be employed as a key worker at the date of the reservation.
- The Key Worker Scheme does not cover agency workers, for example where you are employed by an agency which then provides your services to one of the above types of bodies. However at our absolute discretion we may accept you as a key worker if you can provide evidence acceptable to us that your role with the agency involves you providing services solely to one of the above types of bodies and not any other types of bodies.
How does it work?
- We will provide you with a voucher worth £5,000 (including any VAT) to select interior options of your choice at the new build home you have reserved from us. Those interior options must be selected from our additional/upgrade interior options list.
- If you wish to top up the voucher to choose more than £5,000 of interior options then you may pay the additional amount.
- The voucher is not convertible to cash and there is no cash equivalent.
- The interior options available may vary from plot to plot. Interior options are also subject to availability. The interior options you can select may also depend on the build stage of the new build home you reserve. For example if the floor has already been installed then you would not be able to choose an upgraded option for the floor.
- Please check with our sales executives for the build stage and the available interior options for a new build home that interests you.
- The Key Worker Scheme only applies to new build homes for owner occupation. It does not apply to buy to let properties or second homes.
- For joint purchasers, only one of you needs to be a key worker for your purchase of a new build home from us to qualify for the Key Worker Scheme. If more than one purchaser is a key worker then only one £5,000 voucher is provided per new build home.
Other applicable terms and conditions
- To take advantage of the Key Worker Scheme you must tell us that you are a key worker and claim and provide the required evidence before reserving a property from us. This offer is not to be used in conjunction with any other offer or scheme. We may in our absolute discretion, withdraw or alter the terms of this offer at any time before you have reserved your new build home from us and paid your reservation fee.
- If your reservation agreement expires, is cancelled or is terminated your Key Worker Scheme in relation to that reservation will automatically terminate.
- Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on a mortgage or any other debt secured on it. Individual lender terms and conditions may affect the offer. If you require a mortgage, you are strongly advised to obtain advice from a regulated mortgage adviser.
- Our usual reservation and sales terms and conditions also apply. Please speak to one of our sales executives for more details.
