The Consumer Code for Home Builders

At Crest Nicholson we understand that purchasing a new home can be a daunting process.

We always strive to offer the highest level of customer service in order to ensure that your experience with us is as smooth and as trouble free as possible.

Whether it's supplying you with informed and accurate information or providing you with quality after sale care, we endeavour to meet the service levels you would expect. From the 2010 these customer service requirements became mandatory for all home builders as part of a Consumer Code for Home Builders.

Formed by a number of home warranty bodies, the Code requires all home builders to comply with specific best practice guidelines, which ensure that home buyers are guaranteed an agreed level of service.

These requirements ensure that home buyers:

  • Are treated fairly
  • Know what service levels to expect
  • Are given reliable information upon which to make their decisions
  • Know how to access speedy, low-cost dispute resolution arrangements if they are dissatisfied

Crest Nicholson has stringent measures in place to ensure that these levels of service are already met and our commitment to you is demonstrated through our Customer Charter which sets out the level of service you can expect from us.
